Linus: “Mine!”
Gertrude: “No, MINE!”
Art note: Gertrude rips it out of his hand and falls back.
Linus: “Waaaaaaah!” Art note: Linus is now crying.
Gertrude thought bubble: I can be nicer to my brother. I have an idea.
Gertrude: “Oh Linus! Want to play again? You’ll win this time, promise!”
Art note: Gertrude helps Linus put on his shoes.
Linus: “Gertrude shoes?” Art note: He holds them out to her.
Gertrude: “No”.
Art note: Gertrude and Linus are now in position to play tug of war with the toy again, with Linus wearing sneakers.
Gertrude: “OK, Linus, pull!”
Art note: Linus is pulling, Gertrude is pulling hard too.
Gertrude: “I’m moving! You are dragging me, Linus!”
Art note: Gertrude is laughing. Linus is laughing, too.
Gertrude: “My idea worked! He got me AND the toy when he wore shoes.”
Linus: “Gertrude’s turn!”
Art note: Linus takes off his shoes and Gertrude puts on her shoes.
Gertrude: “OK, Linus, ready?”
